Increasing the print density increases toner consumption. If your printout is too light or too dark, adjust the print density by changing the Density setting in the Extended Settings dialog box in the printer driver's Optional Settings tab. Changing the print density affects all text and graphics, so check the new setting by printing several pages with various kinds of text and graphics.
